Fenrir

Barleywine - Other

Fenrir is a beasty Barley Wine aged for 12 months in bourbon barrels. It offers rich sweetness and complex flavours of caramel, dried fruits and vanilla. The soft carbonation and high ABV reminds us of fortified wine and it pairs well with desserts and strong cheeses. Best served at 10-12°C.

Tung krop med meget potente sødlige og spritede noter. Sødmen overdøver mange af de små noter af frugt der kan vise sig en gang i mellem. Men malt sødmen tager til og ender i en kulmination af sødme og ethanol. Lidt frugt er der nu

Lots of dried fruits in the nose, flavor gives vanilla and caramel with some dried fruits as well combined with a warming alcohol.

Difficult to rate. Heavy Bourbon and cold medicine. But I happen to enjoy those. A lot. Certainly an experience I wouldn’t have been without.

"Soft carb" equals flat, got it. So... Prune, red apple, med alc nudge, Cedar, caramel, vanilla, sultana aromas, med body, vinous, med ALC kick, Cedar, caramel, card board, prune, sultana, leaves, apple, earth flavours. Barrel really hits late

• ending our annual Påskefrokost 2022 • definitely a more bitter BW • aged 12 months on bourbon, but no info on which • more like an American BW • late barrel impact as kristian points • decent attempt • #6400 unique

Dried fruit and vanilla on the nose with a booze element. Heavy bourbon flavour with a light fruity sweet after taste. There is a light vanilla finish. I enjoy the low carbonation its really like wine made with Barney. Its not for everyone, but i love it!

Mørk orange. Duft af bourbonfad, chokolade, lidt skarp humlet, bitter, en del alkohol. Medium krop, flad, let brændende alkohol.
