Very interesting beer. I was definitely had my doubts if an IPA could work with coffee and roastyness, but it seems like To Øl manage to hit it just right. Smooth round roasty coffee with sweet fresh hoppy notes.

Slight bitter ipa taste, pretty much just a coffee stout. Good stout though

Haven’t had this in, I don’t know how long. Nice one Lucky F. for getting this back in town.

Time makes the heart grow ... Wearier? Loved this a long time ago, I don't think it's as good as it once was. Found a (very) old version one recently, drank better than this imo. Still, great beer, fun to revisit

Just love how the velvety, perfectly bitter coffee notes shine through in this one. IPA-amount of hops gives it sweetness, and of course the hoppy touch. I like this in a weird way. Would love to have it without the hoppy part, as a nitro stout or porter.

Black IPA. Roasty malty and aromatic hoppy nose. Sweet aromatic hoppy nose. Full body with a roasted malty character and an obvious hoppy element. Roastiness slowly overtaking with hints of salty licorice and coffee. Semi-deep and heavy. Long malty finish

Haven't had a black IPA in years because I didn't like the style. I guess my tastes have evolved because this was delish. Thanks Halli M.

Alkuun tuntui, ettei oikein osu maaliin. Mutta täähän on aika hauska: sitruksisuutta, ehkä anista.

Roasty rich bitter hints of coffee and an aniseed finish
