Nice To Malt You

Brown Ale - Other

Dark brown with an off-white head. Malt dominant aromas; straw, bread, biscuit, chocolate, a hint of dried plums and a bit of roasted nuts. Taste is equal to the aromas. Malty rounded sweetness balanced out with a medium bitterness.

Bit meh. Nice enough with a light caramel and bread notes.

Not really sure what brown ale is supposed to be. To me it just tastes like a thin watered down porter with a bit more fizz.

A nice, rich, chocolatey ale - feels more like a stout, but not quite so thick. But a very nice malty winter drink.

Only 4.3%, but a lot of depth and sumptuous malty and chocolate flavours! It certainly punches above its weight and it's an impressive beer!

Bit of a dry coffee chocolate flavour

Malty brown ale. Not really for me. Not picking up very much of the chocolate or caramel at all. A bit boring.

Malty brown ale. Brown bread, nutty hints, caramel, twigs. Quite dull really
