De stamhouder (12%) van het Days of Darkness-duo heeft van de cognac en calvados gesnoept. Bad parenting maybe, maar het levert wel een stevige, smaakvolle bock op met een fruitige BA-vleug. ‘S mooi! 👌🏻

Bocktober. Heerlijk die BA. Had wel iets langer mogen liggen op de vaten voor nog meer cognac smaak

De 2 barrels zijn goed te proeven. Zowel de calvados als de cognac haal je er wel uit. Deze drukken de dubbelbock wel een heel stuk weg dat het basisbier is. Dat is op zich weer jammer maar blijft wel een lekker bier. Masr daarom wel een kwart punt minder

Pretty layered but the flavours are way to soft. Feels like an 7% beer. Also for so much barrel aging its hard to notice which one. Its a bit generic and simple.

Aged in cognac and calvados barrels. You get a slight sting with a cognac feel, but it is definetly the calvados barrels that puts its flavour to the beer. A caramalized malty base with an almost zesty ish flavour from the calvados barrels.
