Økuller

Stout - Imperial / Double Pastry

rewed just days before the second COVID-19 lockdown of 2020/21 and aged in barrels throughout its duration, “Økuller” is a collaboration between the Danish island breweries of Fanø Bryghus (Fanø) and Beer Here (Bornholm). Brewed with Cocoa Nibs, Muscvado and Belgian Candi Sugars, “Økuller” spent several months in Stauning Whisky barrels before being blended and aged on whole Polynesian vanilla pods. The result is a smooth imperial stout soaked in aromas of raisins, vanilla, sugar and chocolate. As the beer warms notes of leather, oak and coffee are revealed.

Another one‼️ 11.7% tasty as f*ck BA Impy with peaty smoked notes so well integrated • delicious, half strong, elegant • no screaming or bragging BA Impy; simply well made and well executed with solid names behind • Katie - would love your words on this!
