Style: Barrel-Aged Stout/Barrel-Age Barley Wine Blend
“Turn on the Dark” is a blend of 4 different barrel-aged beers. Three imperial stouts and one barley wine. The ratios of each were decided on through repeated samplings, blendings and more samplings. I mean, we really tasted this beer a lot. A lot a lot. Too many times if you ask my wife. But we didn’t care, only the right blend would do for for this release. “Turn on the Dark” has aromatic notes of bourbon, oak and dark chocolate. As it warms, flavours of raisins, tobacco, and molasses become more prevalent.
