IPA - Imperial / Double

Hornbeer Imperial IPA is brewed with a bit more of everything. We have used american hops:columbus, centenniel, cascade og amarillo. In our opinion, is the Imperial IPA the perfect match to roasted bread with rye – and then a thick layer of gorgonzola cheese. Your life will turn in a new direction!

Poors hazy dark orange with a medium off-white head. Aroma is dominated by grapefruit and grass backed up by caramel. Medium sweet and highly bitter flavor carrying the alchohol well. A solid imp ipa. 2010

Rating #40from the european beer festival 2008. Clear amber look with a white head. Aroma is mainly flowery, some pine and elderflowers. A little watery for and ipa, or maybe its just the fact that this was samplet late in the evening.
