Svejk
Pilsner - Czech
A lager after the bohemian model, this beer has risen by the wish of brewing a hoppy lager – or pilsner as we also call this beer type. In Bohemia a part of Czechoslovakia, they started already some 1000 years ago to use hops in the beer, probably as the first in the world. And they used plenty of it, and fortunately they still do. The Bohemian Pilsner has the character and taste of the great Czech hops. This is also the hops we have used. Svejk is not your ordinary pilsner, in the brewing process we have used Czech Sazz hops and we have used a lot of it, three times under boiling and then one more time while storing. We do not filter our beer, so it may seem a bit unclear, do not drink the last drops, instead buy a new one! The motive on the label is the good soldier Svejk from the Czech novel of the same name. Svejk drove his officers mad with his antiauthoritarian behavior.
