2018. Nez très vin rouge fruité et vinaigré. Bouche étonnamment tannique, je ne m’attendais pas à ça. Ça amène un belle texture tout en gardant une bouche sèche. Funk léger. Très vinaigrée. Pétillance généreuse et rafraîchissante. Excellente !

Von den drei cantillon standards das schwächste. Geile nase aber im körper zu dünn, ein wenig zu aggrotart im abgang. Meckern auf hohem cantillon niveau.

This has an apple cider vinegar nose with an initially very tart raspberry flavour but as it warms up its mellows and the raspberries are more discernible. It’s like no framboise I’ve had though and I’m perplexed by descriptions of it being sweet!? 🤔

Backlog: Insane Raspberry aromas with slight funk Taste is incredible. Tart, refreshing and fruity with a hint of funk, but not off putting at all

Yeah, this is what I always look for in a lambic. Lots of fruit flavor and the right amount of tartness. You know it's a lambic.... but the fruit is still the main characteristic throughout. Benchmark example of the style.

Between this and 3 Fonteinen, I can't really decide which is better. Rating is the same, but price would break the tie in Cantillon's favor.
