Naast de Lou Pepe kriek mijn favoriete bier van Cantillon. Ontzettend mooi zacht spul. Super lekker.

Time to play catch-up from last night's beer share. This was an amazing start. Not as sour as I'd expect from a Cantillon but oh so good.

7% from 2019. Strong hay funk, dark grapes, red wine, oak, some hazelnut, cinnamon. Quite sour, feels fierce.

Zwanze at Perry’s. No vintage year on menu. Nose of fruit-forward red wine, grape skin, grape pit. Palate is lovely dry grapey goodness with a mild funk presence. As it warms, suggestions of red capsicum.

Made from Merlot grapes. Not a fan of beers trying to be wines but this one is not.

Excellent. Light bodied and quite subtle. Got that red grape flavour, a tannic mouthfeel and hints of woody barrel. Really well balanced sweetness and astringency.

Definitely got all of the wine notes you're supposed to, would order it again in a heartbeat, but probably not over most other cantillon offerings if I had to choose.

Spectacular on draft. Grape depth is so much more intense than the bottle a few weeks back.

Fruity raisin on the nose. Sweeter than expected tasting. A nice sourness and complexity. Impressive and unique.
