Reine des Prés

Lambic - Traditional

The original batch of Reine des Prés bottled in 2015 has not been released for sale publicly due in part to the meadowsweet being extremely strong. This batch was bottled for a restaurant in Brussels called Bouchéry as a food pairing lambic. A second batch was bottled in June 2017 and was released as one part of an exlusive six pack of beers for the BXLBeerFest in August 2017. Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria) has been traditionally used in various stews, wines, beers, meads, vinegars, and other beverages due to its pleasant, somewhat sweet taste...

Van pack BXLBeerFest. Voor mijn part is dit de ideale lambiek: zurigheid- en zoetigheid! - onder controle en afgerond in smaak.
