Coached my 10th and final game of the "covid ball" baseball season tonight. Called for a solid IPA and some Domino's... Hopeful for a fresh start in 2021...

Brewed at Brunswick Bierworks in Toronto, of all places. Bit of a marmalade finish - unique.

Not sure if I let this one sit a bit too long, but it doesn't have the NEIPA taste I've come to enjoy. It's still not bad though, just not packing a flavour punch

Surprising in its lightness and caramel notes on top of a more traditional bright NE pale ale

Creamy pineapple with some grape notes and grapefruit bitterness.

Well documented that I don't hold for bevs whose sole purpose in life is to ride the >6% ipa wave. But only a psychopath would pass up a rarely spotted LCBO mikkeller. Sure enough, very solid work. Not over hopped, hint of freshness you get with good IPA.

Big, thick, chewy, hazy, juicy blend of floral, citric, and tropical (mango, papaya) hoppy goodness. Nice sipper on the Friday night kick-off to a weekโs vacation late in the decade known as 2020.

Fresh Start...to it almost being the weekend! Hazy, citrusy, light and smooth.

Very solid IPA - from Copenhagen to Toronto, this one travels well. On the maltier side of the spectrum.

A little bit weird straight out the gate, but subsequent sips bode well for this brew. The nose is equal parts pine and citrus, with an underlying earthy character. Moderately sweet both on the nose and in the body, with the latter being balanced by hops.

Refreshing with a hint of bitterness. Sessionable, in a good way. Cheers Julian A.!
