The Forager uses the delicacy Balck Truffle. The truffle is actually the fruiting part of an underground mushroom (the apple/orange/berry “edible” part). Black truffles aka “Perigord” Truffle is so named for the region of France where it is found. Hogs are typically used to sniff out the underground delicacy. The flavor is earthy, slightly pungent, and very unique.
