Sweet, malty, you get a lot of caramel notes from the rock candy (caramelized beet sugar) definitely can taste the brettanomyces, not that much going on, but really smooth for 9.4%. Another solid beer from Mikkeller.

Funky for sure. Super super smooth for 9.4%. Get a bit of Brett funk on the back end, not much though. Belgian candi/malt flavors throughout. Solid beer.

The funk is on the nose and the aftertaste, with a creamy roasty malt in between. Very different, very crushable. 1/26/21
