December 25, 2013 Bottle from Voldby Købmandsgaard - pours a black dark reddish colour. With a small beige head. Aroma and taste of roasted malts, caramel, red wine tinged woody nuances, slight coffee and choc, berry type fruits.

Very delicious. Not sure of it's age, but the coffee, honey, and vanilla are all wonderfully balanced and well rounded. Very smooth for a barrel-aged beer. First of three versions I had last night. Bought at The Pipe and Pint or Bestway in Greensboro, NC.

I think this is like a 2010 bottle give or take...it didn't age super well. Really smooth but reminded me more of a old ale or heavy barleywine
