The only non hazy IPA available at Mikkeller. I respect it’s unique flavor, but I much prefer a more northwest style. More malt and less tropical, I guess. But don’t get me wrong, Mikkeller is the best place in San Diego for interesting beers (maybe).

Medium sweet fruity and malty with some citrus and light tropical vibes, grapefruit, mango, pine needles, malty backing, bitter hoppy finish. Nothing amazing but perfectly serviceable for Friday balcony beer time ☀️

Quite a nice fruity nose, which doesn’t quite translate to the palate. Perfectly fine nonetheless.

A lot of subtle nice things happening but don’t really elevate. Good but not great. Pretty drinkable though.
