Stout - Oatmeal

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, many say, and if you are a beer geek there is no better way to start the day than with a powerful, complex morning stout. This is the beer that started it all for Mikkeller. Oatmeal Stout brewed with coffee and seven different kind of malt (Pils, Oat, Smoked, Caramunich, Brown, Pale Chocolate, Chocolate), roasted barley, oat flakes, hops (Centennial, Cascade), American ale yeast and gourmet coffee. Aroma is a combination of malts, caramel, chocolate and coffee. The body is medium with light coffee and chocolate flavors with a creamy texture, average carbonation and a bitter edge on the finish. A beer that goes extremely well with breakfast.

Аромат кофейный ликёр с горькой шоколадной крошкой. Вкус сухой дымный кофе, кратко в середине сладко, а потом снова долгий горький шоколад с дымным кофе и угольными тонами, но без перебора. Алко вообще не ощущается, кроме как согревает. Классный баланс

Great oatmeal stout! Drank the whole 500ml thing easily in the cinema watching a film. Not too sweet and perfectly balanced. Expensive but a very nice treat. £8.5
