Let it sit a few years—mellowed nicely. Not surprising. Coffee beers are sometimes risky but I was surprised to see this actually had a “best by” into 2026. They stand by the age-ability of this one.

Old bottle thats been hanging around for several years. Definitely tastes old, but really not bad. Seems like its not as bitter as I remember it being.

Looks like it was purchased around 2014, now dominated by burnt coffee. Sharp carbonation isn’t helping a lot tbh.

Medium-bodied Imperial Coffee Stout that pours a Cappuccino colour. Aromas of Vanilla, Burnt Almonds & Coffee with flavours of Dark Chocolate, Vanilla & Cacao. Sweet with a very dry finish & a high level of acidity.

Subtle, well-balanced throughout, w/no detectable strength (@11%). Quite enjoyable.

About 10-yrs old. Odd aging. Olives and metallic feel. Burnt, roasty, smoked. Choc, cocoa, coffee, licorice, anise. Umami edge. Dark fruits. Oats core. Nice cereal. Balanced. Medium bodied, viscous. Almost crispy. Tasty. But way past its prime. Nice pick.

Bourbon and coffee on the nose. Coffee and chocolate with a clear feeling of alcohol. Very moreish, but feels like an even higher abv

Chocolate in the nose. Brown fast dissappearing head. Dark brownish colour. Slightly sour coffeish tatse. Softness and bitterness well balanced. Soft like silk. Some hoppiness in the nose. Warming alcohol. RB 2009
