This is not a Czech pilsner. It is an American pilsner. Think Bud, Miller, etc.There's a bit more hop character than those. I expect more from Founders.

Sat on the beach at traverse city, watching the Blue Angels over the lake, drinking this beer??? Tastes like freedom!!

Smooth, and malty. This is one of the better pilsners I've had in a while. I don't need a lot from one, I jus need it to do what it should. If it was even more malty I would be fine with that too. Light and crisp, could drink many.
