Advent calendar beer no 3 - Honestly it’s like drinking maple syrup - would be a 5/5 if you’re Elf but I can’t be having it - though I do appreciate it’s an unusual taste

It tastes very good and just like french toast. However, it’s too rich to drink all of it. I only ranked 3 bc it’s too sweet to drink for me.

Lighter and sweeter (more maple syrup taste), very sweet, than Good People El Gordo French Toast. I prefer Good People

I want to love this to pieces but it’s much too thin with a bitter scotch aftertaste. This would be unbelievable as a stout. It’s missing that vicious rich body that would really make these wonderful flavors melt in your mouth. Good not great!

Not a style I usually do well with, but the flavor on this one was just fantastic. Reminded me more of an Eggo Waffle than french toast. i ain't complaining. Thick texture & heavy, syrupy flavor (literally)...however it doesn't feel 11% heavy! Recommended

Maple aroma is very enticing. Finish is a little thin.

First taste was amazing. Full on French toast. Each successive sip became sweeter and stronger. Great for a 4oz to pass around.

I love French toast, and I love Backwood bastard, and this is an example of why it doesn’t always make sense to combine things you love. I actually had this quite some time ago, and was told I never checked in. Thx Gary

A few sips is like a dessert. A full bottle is a bit much.
