This is THE BEST smelling beer I've ever had! The bourbon aftertaste reminds me of stouts with a proportional cost of EUR/ABV. However, this is much more delicious! I'll forever remember the taste of cinnamon, burnt sugar, rum, bourbon and maple syrup!

En "arme riddere-udgave" af Backwoods Bastard. Ud over bourbonfadlagring er der ahornsirup, kanel og vanille her. Skyhøje forventninger, men jeg blev noget skuffet. Synes ganske enkelt kanelen bliver lidt for dominerende i smagen 🤷♂️

Almost clear dark amber with a small ring of tan foam. Spicy light sourish, malty caramel spicy rich cinnamon cake maple some alcohol. Medium body aveerage to lively carbonation dry spicy finish with little alcohol warmth. 130922

Slightly sour somehow... Not sure if there's pipecleaner left in this draft beer or if it is meant to taste like this.

Backwoods Bastard is the winner here I think. Maybe I got the bottom of the barrel.

Maple syrup & cinnamon nose and palate. Also palate bourbon and boozy. Bold, balanced and excellent! Very good!

Big caramel and maple syrup flavor with sweet rich desert like finish. A great variant that does the base beer great justice!!

French toast sticks. Initial sip is pretty syrupy but it calms down as it warms. Pretty tasty.

Mahogany pour with thin khaki colored head, some retention and lacing. Aroma smells exactly like french toast. Flavor is legitimately French toast in liquified form. Toast, cinnamon, maple syrup, vanilla, nutmeg, and hints of barrel character. Dessert.
