smells great, but wearier than I remember; was foamy when poured so that may have something to do with it

Excellent in small doses. Love the Backwoods bastard, but the maple is a little heavy here and too sweet for my personal taste. Definitely reminds me of French toast and they hit the nail on the head there!

I want to love this to pieces but itβs much too thin with a bitter scotch aftertaste. This would be unbelievable as a stout. Itβs missing that vicious rich body that would really make these wonderful flavors melt in your mouth. Good not great!

Delicious dessert beer. Not too much cinnamon, nice maple syrup flavor. Scotch ale is noticeable in the back.

Smells like French toast, tastes like it too. Pretty damn good if not a bit too heavy on the cinnamon.

Super dark ale. Scottish all the way with a breakfast smack to the face. Damn. Maple goodness is there for the taking.
