A 9.7% gose?!? Ok. Pleasantly surprised to see a new American beer of interest at LCBO, so grabbed a couple. More sweet than salty, but a nice one to sip for Thirsty Thurs.

Imperial Gose, eh? No lasting head, color of orange candy, bit thicker. Aroma is sweet grapefruit with tequila, slightly unusual but nothing off the charts. Taste is... like the combination of all qualities above... Odd, lots of sweetness on top of agave.

Imperial Gose! yes Barrel-aged!! yes yes Tequila barrels! yes yes yes Very sweet and fruity .. guava, grapefruit covered in sugar. The barrel flavour in the middle. Salty slightly sour aftertaste. Low tequila taste throughout.

Was not sure what to expect from this one but it is actually a really nice mix of sweet agave, bitter grapefruit, salt and booze. The agave syrup makes it sweeter than I was expecting but it is welcome and balanced by the other flavours.

Late check-in d'hier soir. Lets go la Founders de Grand Rapids aux États-Unis. Une gose brassée avec du sel de mer, pamplemousses et agave vieillit en fut de tequila. C'est funky et puissant! Bien bonne mais vue l'intensité j'en boirais pas 4 bouteilles.

Beautifully crafted beer. Almost like a cocktail, love the tequila in it with the grapefruit, fruity and really nice to sip on.

I dislike grapefruit. And the grapefruit is the only thing keeping this from being perfect.

This drinks like the disgustingly sweet stuff you drink when you first get into drinking. Not sure if this is just an old bottle but woo. A syrupy sweet cocktail. It gets sweeter as you go along. / Come on, Bart. Cartoons don't have to be 100% realistic.
