4 Giants IPA

IPA - Imperial / Double

We’ve made a lot of imperial IPAs over the years and, in turn, have had a lot of arguments over which one is the absolute best. So, to settle this once and for all, our brewers mashed up four of our favorite recipes into the ultimate imperial IPA. 4 Giants boasts aggressive bitterness balanced by a malty, sweet backbone while huge aromatics come courtesy of the seven American hop varieties.

Another hype/legend type beer checked. Extremely balanced. Malty and hoppy and bitter, but smooth as the transition of hotness between Reese Witherspoon and her daughter. Seamless. Happy Easter 🐣🐰🐇

Not a bad beer at all, but to me it tastes just like almost every other Imperial IPA that I've ever had. With all of the hype that it gets I was expecting it to have some sort of unique character to set it apart from all of the others.

Pours a filtered tarnish golden. Nose of pine and grass, traces of lemon citrus. Boozy, yes, the alcohol clings to oily pine, hiding it only a little, sour citrus, lemons in the aftertaste, hop spicy in the alcoholic finish, a lingering warmth. Ok DIPA.
