4 Giants IPA

IPA - Imperial / Double

We’ve made a lot of imperial IPAs over the years and, in turn, have had a lot of arguments over which one is the absolute best. So, to settle this once and for all, our brewers mashed up four of our favorite recipes into the ultimate imperial IPA. 4 Giants boasts aggressive bitterness balanced by a malty, sweet backbone while huge aromatics come courtesy of the seven American hop varieties.

A giant of a beer! I love big IPAs with a hefty malt backbone.

This is a West Coast style IPA all the way. Amber color, clear and crisp, malty backbone, piney, and VERY hoppy. Nice choice when 95% of all the IPAs out there are hazy juice bombs. Which I like, but this is the main event.

Piney, resinous, hoppy. Biscuity, toasty, malty. Nice bitterness. Good balance. Has some heat to it. Throwback.

I’m typically really hesitant about imperial IPAs because of the heavy mouthfeel and bitterness. I truthfully would never have guessed this was imperial. Light and crisp with some nice fruit notes to it.
