Más Agave

Sour - Fruited Gose

We love cocktails. Like, really love them. If you ask us, few are more refreshing than the tart and tangy margarita and our latest barrel-aged beer pays tribute to that perennial classic. We took an imperial gose brewed with agave, lime and sea salt and then aged it in tequila barrels for just the right amount of kick. Consider it a party in a bottle. Más Agave!

Imperial gose. Not too sour. Brewed with agave, lime, and sea salt. Then aged on tequila barrels. Tastes like a margarita beer cocktail. Great!

Oh b-limey! This is delicious! Almost a mead like imperial lime sour. Agave sweetness, dreamy lime tartness & a bit of saltiness. Also tequila barrel certainly adds to the agave drift. Cheers!

Fairly sweet and malty. There's some woodiness as well. As a whole, a bit of a mixed bag. Like the salty aftertaste and lime, don't like the slightly syrupy body or the aroma.

Thanks for the share JV. The lime and tequila notes in the gose are phenomenal. Cheers!

This is a great sipper on a warm day. I call it a beer-a-rita. No salted rim needed. Just pour into a chilled glass and enjoy. This one can sneak up on you so pace yourself. Great bre from Founders and one of my summer go to brews.

A great refreshing summertime beer. Lime comes through immediately and is followed by sea salt

I bet if I put salt on the rim it would be a 5. It’s very sweet.

Heavy and sweet. Pours like syrup, but it is awesome! Rich, deep, and complex. Definitely feels and tastes barrel-aged.
