Vanilla and maple in the nose, but strong and boozy in the middle, with a bitter finish that fades to maple long after each sip. Nice evolution of flavors.

Been about 6 years since I've had this one. Lots of maple sweetness, maybe some light fruity notes and piney hops. Maybe a hair on the syrupy side, but still pleasant. Booze is felt, but not too much heat.

Sweet as advertised, big flavors of bittering hops, maple, and challah bread. Honestly may be a bit over sweet, but I did really enjoy it.

Sweet, malty, and boozy! Very smooth for something that's barrel aged. What a fantastic beer!

Interesting, the bourbon barrel is not as aggressive as some of the other barrel aged series. Sweet, slight smokiness and boozy on the finish. Maple is a bit muted.

So different of a beer style but really good! The barrel aging is subtle as is the maple but the rye shines through!
