Can’t say I’ve ever had this style before. Definitely let it warm.

Been about 6 years since I've had this one. Lots of maple sweetness, maybe some light fruity notes and piney hops. Maybe a hair on the syrupy side, but still pleasant. Booze is felt, but not too much heat.

Thanks Craig W. For this! Pours a true copper with a nice off white head that lingers into a great lacing. Sweet, heavy and strong boozy nose Caramel, sweetness and syrupy. Lingering soft alcohol heat Mild carbo with a blossoming warmth/radiation

I think I let this one sit more than the last time I had it. More complex than I remember.

Very sweet and smooth. A bit lighter than barleywine.

Light caramel colored. Definite alcohol on nose. Sweetness helps to cover the high alcohol content but not completely. Definitely a sipper. A little lingering sticky sweetness after each sip.

Uhm. Founders Rules? Aroma of a good astringent, with a odd medicinal kick to it. But oddly not terrible.

Decently good barely wine. Nothing too extreme in taste and body, but it's fortified well and has a nice mellow syrup.

Oak barrel softened alcohol sweetness. Subtle caramel notes. Nice beer but it's a lot.

Good. More bitter than I expected. Maple and bourbon.

Vanilla and maple in the nose, but strong and boozy in the middle, with a bitter finish that fades to maple long after each sip. Nice evolution of flavors.
