A wheaty, malty nose. On the first taste, no maple nose which is a bummer. It’s a little boozy and bitter. This is almost a cross between an ipa and an esb. It’s good but I am on the line between a second go or forgetting it.

I’m not sure about this one. All the flavors you’d expect are there but I’m not sure they all go together. Amster rating: “this may sound a bit weird but it’s too sweet”

Boozy, chewy. There’s an odd citrus like finish to it. Hoppy Friday Untappd friends!

Cold: I much prefer this cold. It is almost too sweet when warm and very clear it is a wheat wine, stronger than a barley wine IMO. Cold it is pleasantly sweet and smooth with a nice amount of maple flavor. Definitely worth a try if you like mead too.

First time trying a wheat wine. This was just too sweet for me.

Solid bourbon barrel aged beer. If you like a wheat hoppy beer with a good taste and enjoyable finish this is it.

Pretty good, but not getting the "maple" taste that others have gotten

A little less maple would have been nice.

There might be beer in there somewhere, but mostly it tastes like syrup that's been aged in bourbon barrels. Don't get me wrong-- I like it. I'm just not sure why this couldn't be another imp stout instead of a wheatwine.

Boozy with the woody oak notes. Sugary and slightly sweet maple.

She said she wanted “something strong” so I flexed, pulled a muscle, and gave her one of these instead.

As others have said, improves as it warms. A bit boozy, but underwhelming based upon what I expected. Usually BBA maple beers from founders are lit.
