A good coffee aroma, a little strong aftertaste for my liking. The aftertaste tasted like it had been aged in bourbon barrels.

Quite good. Not usually a fan of brown ales but maybe the higher alcohol + nitro did it for me.

January 2021. Rich with a slightly boozy profile; not overpowering despite the high alcohol content. Distinct chocolatey coffee, or coffee grounds, flavour. An enjoyable sipper.

(Stef) Speciaal. Stevige kerel, redelijk romig. Koffiebitter maar niet overdreven. Van ver iets zoet karamel? Om rustig te degusteren.

Heel lekker, zacht smaakje. Tonen van koffie, chocolade en bourbon komen er lekker door.

Founders, dude, has just really got it pinned down. And by ‘it,’ I mean crafting great beers. This is a brown ale with all the charming swagger of a stout. An inviting aroma leads to a rich, full & robust flavor that leaves a lip-smacking aftertaste.
