Aroma is of bourbon, barrel, roasted malts/coffee beans and coffee and chocolate. Flavour has bourbon, dry barrel, chocolate, roasted malts and coffee beans. Chocolate and even some vanilla. A bit dry and bitter finish. Alcohol warms up nicely.

Good. A bit boozy, but not overwhelming. Not very sweet, but still sweeter than I'd like.

Good, but nearly 12% and tastes like it. Strong booze aftertaste. A slow sipping beer.

More coffee than I would normally like...becomes less noticeable later, but very strong starting out.

Wow! Big coffee notes greet you and malt and molasses follow on the palette. Smooth body with a zesty, crisp finish featuring coffee flavors again! Another GREAT Founders Brewing beauty!! 👊🏻👍🏻🙌🏻

Wonderful nose of roasted coffee blending with dark chocolate and bourbon aromas. Toasted, nutty taste with a berry-bourbon melange, fading into a long sweet alcohol-tinged tail of cocoa.

Not sure what I did to deserve such a fitting end to the year. Rich, sweet, just a bit of coffee. In a word, delicious.
