Underground Mountain Brown

Brown Ale - Imperial / Double

Underground Mountain Brown is the harmonious drinking experience only achieved when our imperial brown ale, earthy sumatra coffee and a year aging in caves below Grand Rapids comes together. A team of malts complement the bold sumatra coffee perfectly, while time spent immersed in oak creates layers of depth and complexity. A celebration of the barrel, the bean and everything in between.

This is right up my alley. Like the Sumatra Mountain Brown on roids. Light to medium body. Coffee and bourbon with some boozy heat. Some caramel and roastiness as well. Tasty.

Shared dark thin pour. Smells of bourbon & chocolate, with some subtle coffee and maple notes. Tastes strongly of bourbon, vanilla, light coffee roast & slight chocolate malt. 11.9% gives this beer some umph in this Mountain offering. Damn good brown.

Good rich, Smokey bite to it. Chasing it with an espresso so I’m a happy camper tonight

Getting into a birthing class video while drinking. Molasses and brown sugar, vanilla and bourbon. Placentas and contraction massages.

Nice. Chocolate but not thick like imperial stouts. Prefer the stout.
