Epic beer. Aged in my cellar for a cpl years. Bourbon nose, thick, balanced , chocolate after taste. Can't taste the 12%

The ‘19 version shows musty, dusty if not dirty oak, ancient Bourbon, prune infused, strong Ethiopian pour over coffee, near burnt, thin caramelised brown sugar. Nice balance

Chocolate oak and alcohol on nose. Mouthfeel full body. Dark chocolates lots of coffee light on whiskey abs barrel

Some sharp coffee edges remain in this 2019 keg. Still delightful and less aggressive than a new release.

Found in a liquor store recently. Not sure if it is due to its age (unlikely cellared in the right conditions) but the bourbon barrel flavours are v. subtle to none. The main thing that sticks out is coffee, with the chocolate less prominent. Boozy.

Do they even make KBS anymore? Still scary good, even after 2 years of cellaring and glad I have more bottles left after this one. Goes great with October horror movie watching, too.
