Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2013)

Stout - Imperial / Double Coffee

What we’ve got here is an imperial stout brewed with a massive amount of coffee and chocolates, then cave-aged in oak bourbon barrels for an entire year to make sure wonderful bourbon undertones come through in the finish. Makes your taste buds squeal with delight.

Nose not great. Taste slightly better. Still way past it's prime as expected. Drink KBS fresh.

Tapped into my beer archive. Why not? It’s dark chocolate flavor and really pretty mild, can’t taste the booze at all. Really holds up well if cellared properly.

10 year old hits different 🍻 Way better mouthfeel than the “new” and flavor is still on point. If taken care of correctly this beer holds very very nicely!

Like drinking a memory of 2013 stouts. Slightly faded, but still has some edge to it. Just a fun reminder of the years when I first got into beer. Maple flavor but not sweet, imperial stout with edges softened. Delicious. +.5 cause starting to get buzzed
