Roasty with some boozy heat and sweetness. I think I prefer the fudge variant though.

Heavy espresso roast almost like a porter. Moderate chocolate with the espresso roast and barrel really standing out. Notes of wood, dark fruits, some spice (not vanilla), some sweetness and booze. Easy drinking despite the abv - espresso-centric

Goed op smaak, lekker droog van de koffie, en de barrel is mooi subtiel. Maar - en kan me niet herinneren dat dit bij andere KBS varianten ook zo was - hij is best dun. Plakt ook niet aan het glas. Da's jammer.

Mooie bak koffie. Bourbon komt er subtiel doorheen. Hier ga ik lekker van genieten.

A strong bourbon barrel aroma along with roasted coffee. The taste carries the expression coffee and chocolate. The bourbon makes a slight presence with its oakiness. It’s a heavy mouthfeel finishes bitter and a hint of chocolate sweetness.

Kevin pakt uit met nog een KBS. Koffietje. Ik heb een tijdje in de VS gewoond en nergens heb ik toen zo’n straffe roast gevonden. Misschien had ik toen gewoon de hele dag bier moeten drinken.

Muy muy buena, licorosa, dulce, chocolate, café y ñigero amargor final. La barrica me pasa un poco desapercibida, aunque si q le noto el final que es como una nota a alcohol. Muchas gracias Jordi A. 😍😍
