4.1 - Minor step better than the last few years of regular KBS. I added some Veil DB maple syrup. That made it much better!

Not bad. I think that I like it better than just the original KBS. Bourbon taste is subtle and not over powering this stout.

That’s intense coffee. It dominates the rest of the KBS deliciousness. Still pretty darn good though, but not quite the same enjoyment level as the original (or some of the other variants). Should have had this in the morning.

Bunch of coffee, light sweetness throughout, coffee might be overpowering the barrel, kbs feeling naturally, medium body. Nice

I prefer the bite of the bourbon of the OG KBS but this definitely a great mellowed out option. Also I’ve apparently decided to knock out all my high gravity beers before heading to transplant.

Roasty, coffee start hides a smoky bourbon finish. Rich in the mouth.
