Tasty stuff: the usual KBS goodness with a very subtle but nice coffee note. Not at all vegetal, but a pleasant chocolate/coffee/bourbon combination.

Some coffee bite in the palate but aside from that it’s as you’d expect.

Extreme espresso flavor, little bitterness in the taste considering the 70IBU, can definitely feel the ABV.

The coffee is nice, but it sort of overpowers the barrel character.

De espresso is dermate dominant dat bijna alle andere smaken overschaduwd worden. Dat is jammer, want de KBS heeft zoveel meer te bieden. Een straf bakkie blijft over. Goed te doen voor een espresso liefhebber als ik, maar dat is het dan ook.

Day 24 of our beer advent calendar! The last day. Merry Christmas Eve! This was a big beer to end with. An espresso bomb with tons of chocolate.

This is good but was expecting a little more. Only slight coffee flavor and the viscosity isn’t quite up to my standards. Wouldn’t complain if you handed this to me but not worth the price tag imo
