Bottled on 04/23/20. Foamy head, rich smell - think cocoa, nougat, a tad of burnt wood. Full mouthfeel, almost sirupy. Strong coffee and espresso notes, bitter aftertaste. Tasty beer, slightly prefer regular KBS though.

Coffee and alcohol aroma. Espresso and chocolate flavor with a touch of bourbon. Smooth. Delicious. Great paired with strawberry shortcake.

Tasty beverage though sadly, late in the game, I’ve just learned that there is much to do at Founders to address racism and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Hopefully they embrace the challenge but for now they’ve seen the last of my business

Really rich coffee and chocolate. Delicious but on the verge of being too over the top heavy. Like eating a giant piece of chocolate cake with mocha frosting an inch thick.

De bekende KBS, maar dan met extra koffie. En dat is expres zo. Heerlijk, al is het origineel nog beter. Deze is wat harder en droger.

Vol van smaak, flink koffie met iets van een citrusbitter (grapefruit), fijn zoetje iets cacao. Mooie balans

It's strong and the bitterness of espresso, not the subtle delicious espresso though :(

..an absolute “10” as “5” doesn’t seem high enough.. full strong expression flavor, with hint bourbon...WOW!!! This is spectacular, and nothing less...Yes, it is worth the price! Bury me in this stuff... Cheers!

This bourbon barrel aged stout is fantastic!! The expresso beans are perfectly balanced - just what one needs in a cup in the morning. LOL!
