Somewhere between Central Waters and Founders... is the epitome of Barrel-Aged Stouts. Thick, Chocolatey, barrel aged goodness. God I love this stuff. Fantastic.

Dark brown, nearly black, w/thin beige head. Nose- mostly brown bread crust, but possible coffee & cocoa notes. Taste- fudge brownie, coffee, and bourbon barrel. High bitterness (from whatever source). High-med. body. Semi-sweet finish. RJT

A solid beer after a long-ass day. Lots if coffee in this year's variant, which kinda hurts it, IMO, but still a stellar beer.

Absolutely phenomenal! Deep chocolate / earthy flavor. Not overwhelmingly boozy, nice earthy tones from the barrel aging

Coffee, chocolate, roasty, ... just a hint of vanilla. Not much noticeable "bourbon" flavor, but the 12% ABV is clear. This brew is for sipping, not slamming.
