Dropped off substantially with nose of coffee but minimal taste and bourbon is gone.

Very full bodied and still has its choco and bourbon bite. Backend starts to lean toward a soy off flavor as it lingers and warms.

Decembeers, early morning, chili edition. The beer has held up well.

Pork and stout for the main entree. An abrupt departure from the low ABV of the salad course, but chocolate and coffee combine again for a stout win 👍

In eerste instantie behoorlijk alcoholisch. Droog, bittertje, scherp. Geroosterde mout. De hoge gemiddelde rating ban 4,29 snap ik niet zo goed. Het bier is eerder dun dan vol.

Yup. The booze is too sharp, I think 2018 is the best of the run tonight from 2016-2020, so for everyone out there: drink your KBS 5 years into your shelf life.

Not as good as other years. Have they lost their mojo? 2021 will be an important year for a better mass-produced KBS.

Worth the wait, saved this for dessert and the rich coffee and chocolate was a delight. KBS is a winner!

I remember when KBS was hard to find or you had to wait in line for the release....the chocolate and coffee is distinct as is the bourbon taste.

Huge coffee nose, palate is also heavily coffee with hints of dark chocolate and barrel wood. Nice. Booziness is a little too on the nose this fresh.
