With now having my second bottle of the 2020 vintage of KBS, I am upping my previous 4.25 rating to 4.50. Historically I have rated KBS 4.75. While this year's vintage is not quite up to prior years, it's still excellent. Chocolate, coffee, Bourbon.

Geur vooral bourbon. Smaak een dikke plakkerige chocolade met een scherp randje. Ook wel wat koffie.

Boozy & chock full of flavor. Strong, dark coffee & chocolate shine through this BA stout. The perfect beer to sip as the winter storm rolls in.

Not as good as expected. Could be the keg here. Didn't improve as it warmed... but still solid.

I mean it is funny. This beer used to be the stout that set the bar, now there is so much better stouts that I was a unimpressed. Still love it for what it is but not as much as I used to.
