The King of barrel aged beers will always be KBS for me.

Oct 2020 bottle. Decent time to drink it. Barrel not too overpowering and coffee and chocolate notes are at a good level. Good mouthfeel. 4.65ish.

After a year, it is smoother, & the chocolate coffee & bourbon are balanced more. But it leans a little more chocolate.

Founders Breakfast Stout and KBS vertical with Mike 😄 This was a lot less aggressive than the last KBS I had.

Nou, Nou. Ongeloofelijk complex en weer subliem van eenvoud in 1 fles.. Aanzet vrij vol.... Maar dan..volle smaken. Komen achtereen volgens naar boven.. Zonder te overheersen.. Met een mooi barreltje wat lang blijft hangen..

Wow, the flavour explosion in my mouth was amazing. Nice rounded flavour. None of the flavours take over....nice balance.

Wat blijft dit een goed bier zeg! Vol en romig, dik mondgevoel. Koffie, zoetig, vanille, bourbon, chocolade, vatgerijpt, tikkeltje boozy in de afdronk. Heerlijk!
