Velvety smooth at first sip. Fudge forward as a strong porter more than a stout. Drinkable. The booze hits then falls off into a maple-ish finish. Can’t decide if it’s maple or caramel and then it just becomes bitter and creamy with hints of peanut.

Smell is black coffee and chocolate. Taste is a smokey, coffee and chocolate. A good, heavier beer, not something I want a full glass of...

Kinda thin. Would probably be better on nitro. Also kinda expensive. Each bottle in the 4 pack is nearly as expensive as a package of this fudge, which I would enjoy much more. Purchased at the Mexican flea market known as the Dabbler Depot.

If coffee and fudge had a baby with maple syrup... More coffee than anything It's just a bit too much for me, bourbon barrel age this thing and it will be amazing!

Predominately coffee. Maple a close second but not sweet at all. More roasty.

You see this kind of thing and you just know it’s kind of a novelty. And I say, “so what?! I’m not a purist that everything beer must adhere to the Reinheitsgebot. Nice distraction. Recommended.”

I’m a fan of pastry stouts lately, but this one’s a little too sticky sweet. Given the relatively high price for a 4-pack, gotta say I’m now skeptical of trying the rest of the KBS line.

Very strong chocolate notes. Felt hair growing on my chest and liver spots on my head form when I drank it. Decent stuff.

A little watery for me, okay flavour but not enough layers and not nearly enough decadence for a beer with maple and fudge in the name.

like a chocolate liquor with a bit of bite and fizz. Not so thick or syrupy as some other chocolate beers I’ve tried.

Overall rating of 4.5 on this is comical. There’s a little chocolate. But it’s thin and lacking in every other category advertised. Cannot tell this was ever put in barrels.

4.5 national rating on this is comical. Chocolate flavor. Cannot tell this was aged in a barrel. Thin viscosity

Holy sweetness! It’s like drinking a pint full of Kaluha.

First nose is chocolate. Bury nose you get coffee. Bitter but def KBS. Heavy mouthfeel. Solid sipper. Barrel comes out as it warms up. Birthday Brew!

too sweet. Nasty vanilla extract with hints of tootsie roll and cough syrup.

Something a lil synthetic? Finishes with a lil maple sweetness but there is a chalky chocolate that maintains the base of this. Fun to try.
