Stout - Imperial / Double Coffee

Michigan didn't invent old-fashioned fudge, but it was perfected here. We pay tribute to this time-honored tradition with KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge. By amplifying the rich chocolate notes of KBS using Mackinac Fudge coffee, then adding maple syrup and aging it in oak bourbon barrels, we've created a bold new take on our barrel-aged classic - one that could only have originated in Michigan.

Fudge overload! Maple and bourbon is in the background. But this beer is absolutely delicious!! Worth $6 a bottle? Yeah. I’ll give it that. And 11% ABV may just have given this beer the crown for most dangerous beer in the world.

Mocha latte aroma. Taste is chocolate truffles with dark roast coffee finish. Coffee not ashy or like green peppers, which is a big improvement. Don't get maple or bourbon, but that's ok. Body is fluffy and full. More coffee as it warms. Best KBS in years
