Not getting worse with age.... wonderfully smooth with brown sugar, toffee sweetness, bourbon - boozy warmth - delicious sipper.

This was deceptively smooth, such a complex ale. The barrel notes are there & richly enhance the caramel + malt. Great beer in the rain!

Gelijk een volle bek pruimen / honing in de eerste slok, maar wel precies goed. Lekker zoetige mooie afdronk, deze brouwert snapt het wel. Een van mijn favo brouwers.

Shared amber pour. Smells sweet & boozy like honey & bourbon. Tastes of bourbon & maple, with the honey element really being molasses. Smooth but the boozy burn hits as you drink more. One of the last bottles I got back originally in ‘18. Great drinker.
