FLN. This was a cellar aged bottle, but no date so figure it's probably 5-7 years old. Damn smooth for the high ABV.

2018 series. Brewed 8/2018. In fridge since late 2018. Held up really well. Sweet & mellow. Bit on the flat side.

Cellar Cleaning Advent #14: aside from the somewhat odd color, this has held on remarkably well. Plenty of slightly sticky sweetness and maple that is well integrated. Not exactly #BIL, but #BIL-adjacent for sure.

Light notes of vanilla, bourbon, molasses, and bananas. Delicious. Enjoying a 2018 brew for my sons bday

Not as sweet as I feared but also not really jumping out at me.

This is so good! I have had this bottle in my cool place for 3 years and it is wonderful! It is smooth and sweet with a great maple finish. Here's to old friends, some no longer with us, and pre-pandemic activities!

Smells like an old ale... touch of molasses syrup. Medium sweet. Vibrant but light body. it's like boozy syrup. Not overly sweet. Medicinal quality to the finish.

Caramel, maple, cinnamon, dust, and candied orange. Sweet and malty and a little boozy. Heavy, syrupy, and grainy. Beautiful and aggressive.

2018. Such a great old ale. Aged exactly how you want one to. The sugars are darker and richer, without being overwhelming. Smooth, molasses, brown sugar, dark fruits, sweet malt

Rich yet quite approachable and drinkable. Almonds, port, rye, hints of cherry, all smoothed by a woody dryness. Five years of aging could have a lot to do with it

Bottled 2018. Love the maple barrel aging and that it's not too sweet.

Molasses, maple syrup and bourbon barrels really bring out the best of this curmudgeon.

Raisin aroma. Overripe plum, fudge, gently bitter finish. Comforting.

Bourbon, of course. Sweet maple, so smooth.
