Like a barleywine with less sweetness. Assume because of the flavor profile of molasses.

Wow, holy shit this beer is strong! Not molasses flavored, and not maple syrup, but overwhelmed by cheap bourbon in the barrel aging process. This beer will be a hit at any and all midwestern football tailgate parties.

See through amber; but full of taste! Mouth coating and really sweet; melasse. Combination of maple and bourbon;Goed gebalanceerd en vol van smaak! Je moet wel echt van zoet houden!

Bourbon taste quickly followed sweetness with maple syrup finish. Very sweet but good.

2018 bottling, I get classic Old Ale w/ nice vanilla and oak flavs.

Well the maple syrup barrel aging has definitely faded. But still not terrible.
