Прежде всего огромный респект магазину Брютик! С возврастом не стал суше, а даже слаще и топорнее. Как будто окислился( Но крутой, конечно.

Massive maple bourbon woody oak. Absolutely no alcohol heat. Sooo much better than the bottles. Lovely body rich and slightly sweet. Fantastic!

Last time I was here (and the last time I had this beer) was their last day open before the PLANdemic - March 15, 2020. Happy to see this place open again!

Haven’t had this in forever! No idea how old it is but it’s tasting great on draft

2011 vintage. Not as pancakey but still very good.

Old ales aren't really my thing but this one wasn't bad. Slightly sweet, and the molasses and barrel aging creates an interesting dynamic.

Smooth with almost an apple cidery profile.

Aging long term doesn’t help this much, as it’s gained just a hint of mint flavor on the top of the old ale. Still not bad though. 2018 vintage

Bottle from 2011. It was probably great back in the day but seems so ordinary and thin now.

[MARK] I expected something sweet and pastry from the better half of a curmudgeon. But she's much more mellow and approachable.
