Nose of earthy coffee, chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, oak. Smooth mouthfeel, but the body is a bit thin. Tasting notes of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, sweet malts, and light coconut on the finish. Incredibly complex and balanced.

Wowzer! Not always a fan of barrel aged, but sometimes I itch for an Imperial. Dont usually these put into a brown ale! Boy am I glad they did! It was sweet, smooth, and had a great balance. Thick, but not overly heavy. Will get again!

8-7-19 from cellar. Smell coffee and a little bourbon. Taste smooth vanilla, chocolate, nutty coffee, mellow bourbon back. Very smooth and creamy. A bit on the sweet side.
