Cellar dive. Ageing (under non-ideal conditions) has not improved this beer.

Decided to revisit this. If you look at the all ratings, these people are crazy! 4-5 ? Really? Pretty flat flavor wise and mouth feel. Get some roast and chocolate followed by a wallop of oxidation. 7yrs was a bit too much for this

I think I let it set too long. Tastes flat. I can literally chug this and have it gone in 3 drinks. Sucks too, was looking forward to it.

No carbonation left. Still some coffee, but very meh. Shouldn’t have waited so long. Didn’t necessarily mean to. Just forgot.

Was hoping to compare the BCBS coffee variant to something similar, and this was the closest barrel-aged coffee stout I had around. Kids, if you’ve got any 7-year-old KBSes hanging around, drink them about 4 years ago. Not even fair to rate it.

Far left. Has lost what I assume was some strong coffee/chocolate (based on more recent variants), so won’t rate since it was my own poor judgment to sit on this vertical for so long.

Well, I'm gonna say 8 years is WAY to long to let this sit. The flavor has fallen off so much. Not worth opening imo.

Still good after all these years! Less carbed than the other. Cindy tried to Bogart my beer

The alcohol burn is strong up front on this. Cannot tell if this degraded over time because 2014 was better.

Not bad. I think this one held up better than the 2017 bomber.
